How to watch the 2021 Olympic women's golf tournament on television
Mike Ehrmann
If the drama of the final round of the men's Olympic golf tournament has you excited about seeing more Olympic golf, join the club. After watching Xander Schauffele hang on to win the gold medal over a charging Rory Sabbatini, with a wild seven-man playoff determinging the bronze medal winner (C.T. Pan), the women take the stage. All three medalists from the 2016 Rio Games—Inbee Park, Lydia Ko and Shanshan Feng—are in the field along with Americans Nelly and Jessica Korda, Danielle Kang and Lexi Thompson. The women’s tournament begins on Tuesday evening U.S. time (Wednesday in Japan) at Kasumigaseki Country Club, located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Tokyo.
As you mind have learned from last week's men's tournament, the 13-hour time change between East Coast and Japan time makes watching the tournament live an all-night affair. For those willing to sacrifice the sleep, the reward is worth it as Golf Channel will broadcast 8½ hours of live coverage during the first three rounds, then nine hours of the final round, including the medal ceremony.
