EVNROLL

EV5 Series

Hot List Gold 2023

Our Review:

WHAT IT DOES: The mallets in this line all have the popular parallel wings shape and feature a milled 303-stainless-steel front piece with an aircraft-grade aluminum rear section that houses six customized tungsten weight ports. The stainless-steel front section is designed to have the feel of a blade putter. The weight, which provides stability on off-center hits, can be used to match the player’s preferences for stroke type.

WHY WE LIKE IT: There are plenty of putterface texture treatments, but none is designed to perform the dual function of Evnroll’s grooved face. The spacing and depth of the grooves modulate energy transfer for consistent ball speed across the face, and its angles steer off-center hits back toward the center line. Read more>>>

Player Comments
Low-Handicapper
"Love the monochrome look and the clean lines. Nice crisp pop off the face, very solid sound/feel combination. Long and short putts were consistent. Pure roll off the face."
Handicap, +4
Medium-Handicapper
“I like the curves and pleasing angles. I think the milling gives a great soft feel, near the top of the class. It gives a great roll, immediately starts going end over end. great feel for distance control. Enough heft there to let you let the putter do all the work."
Handicap, 6
High-Handicapper
"I really like the finish. The alignment aid just being on the front portion was smart, simple and elegant. Easy to square up. Really quiet impact. The grooves on the face seem to want to put a nice roll on the ball immediately. Very easy and intuitive distance control. Short putts were automatic."
Handicap, 15
