    Hot List Silver 2023

    Our Review:

WHAT IT DOES: Introduced in 2013, the contrasting black-and-white scheme grew out of studies of night-vision goggles. Getting a better sense of alignment is crucial because if the face angle is off by as little as 1 degree, it results in a miss from as short as 10 feet. Brought back 10 years later, these mallets benefit from the feel of the White Hot face insert. The two-part urethane mixture yields a soft impact feel combined with resilient ball speed for more controlled roll.

WHY WE LIKE IT: When you resurrect a 10-year-old design idea, it needs some kind of modern tech update. Odyssey does it smartly with the Stroke Lab shaft. The graphite shaft features a steel tip to create more consistency in tempo by shifting the shaft’s traditional balance point closer to the hands. Read more>>>

    Which One's For Me?
    Three T
The parallel black-white-black contrasting aiming stripes fit in this half-mallet shape, which also includes a short perpendicular alignment mark on the target line. Its short slant neck is best for strokes with some arc and face rotation to them.
    Seven DB
The parallel black-white-black contrasting aiming stripes fit into the parallel winged mallet structure. The double bend shaft results in a face-balanced setup. It is best for straight back and straight through strokes.
    Seven S
The parallel black-white-black contrasting aiming stripes fit into the #7 platform. The slant neck hosel produces moderate toe hang, making it best for strokes with a moderate degree of arc.
    Twelve DB
The black-white-black aiming structure is perpendicular to the face on this broader mallet shape that mirrors the shape of a #7 with the space between the parallel wings filled in. The double bend hosel produces a face-balanced setup, best for straighter strokes.
    Twelve S
Built on the #12 platform, the black-white-black aiming structure is perpendicular to the face. It uses a slant neck for toe hang, making it best for slightly arcing strokes.
    Twelve CS
Built on the #12 platform, the black-white-black aiming structure is perpendicular to the face. It uses a center shaft making it best for straighter strokes.

    Low-Handicapper
"It's a little on the larger side but had a small profile behind the ball. It makes it seem like you're going to stroke up on the ball instead of down on it which helps the roll. Very balanced."

    Medium-Handicapper
"I like the clean looks of it and high grades for high contrast and white stripe and fangs in back. very effective in getting you aligned with confidence for where you need your putt to go. face really good balance of resiliency and feedback."

    High-Handicapper
"I liked the Three T. The black-white-black really effective in seeing how square the face is. Firm but receptive at impact. Sweet spot was significant and helpful. Very good end over end roll. Smooth in my hands throughout the stroke. Thin but heavy really feel the pendulum effect."
