Mackenzie Hughes is currently third in the FedEx Cup standings. Mackenzie Hughes is currently 32 years old. So it would make little sense that Mackenzie Hughes would announce his retirement with a Tuesday tweet.
Then again, maybe the Canadian wanted to go out on top. And what better way to do that than by breaking a six-year winless drought at the Sanderson Farms Championship in October and hoisting that glorious rooster trophy to the sky? It's going to be tough to top that.

Anyway, I feel your pain as someone who also retired from fantasy football after a couple decades of being beaten up. And you know what? I don't miss it. (That much.)
Plus, you've got enough stress in your life playing in golf tournaments all year to worry about your first-round RB going out with an ACL tear in week 3. Every freaking year. Yep, you're going to enjoy (this) retirement.
