Holidays got you stressed? Burned out at work? Sick? Tired? The car won’t start? We feel ya. But forget all that for a minute. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Start at the tip of your nose and relax every muscle in your body. Exhale. Now open your eyes and watch this.
Feel better? Of course you do. Ballybunion Old is one of the most beautiful courses on earth on a normal day, but blanketed under a layer of frost, the morning sun glimmering off its surface, it becomes otherworldly. Sure, it’s bad news if you flew into Country Kerry this weekend for a quick 36, but for the majority of us plebes, it’s downright medicinal.
Ballybunion Golf Club wasn’t the only iconic links covered in the white stuff this week, however. The Old Course at St. Andrews also got a dusting of its own.
We can’t believe we’re saying this, but maybe winter isn’t so bad after all.
