Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams recruits Aaron Rodgers with a reminder about all the incredible golf courses he’ll be able to play

The Aaron Rodgers Saga: 2023 Edition rolls on. Things could change at literally any second, so keep your knees loose, but for now the future of the Packers’ veteran gunslinger remains in the balance. There have been hearsay and rumors, darkness retreats and clandestine meetings, but the overwhelming consensus is that Rodgers is destined for one of two fates:

Retirement or the New York Jets.

If handed that ultimatum, we’d put our toes in the sand and never look back. Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams is doing his best persuade Rodgers otherwise, however, reminding this year’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner about the iconic tri-state tracks he will be able to play should he take his talents to South Jones Beach.

Considering Pine Valley, nestled in Clementon, NJ, was ranked Golf Digest’s number-one course on PLANET EARTH last year, Williams certainly has a point. Other readily accessible gems include Shinnecock Hills (no. 4), National Golf Links (no. 7), and Winged Foot (no. 12). Is that enough to make being employed by the New York Jets seem enticing? Tough to say—a lot depends on how head coach Robert Saleh feels about his star quarterback skimming a few hours here and there—but it certainly can’t hurt.
