You’ll never guess what Josh Allen gifted his offensive line for Christmas (fine, it was golf clubs)

December 28, 2020

If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand times: Josh Allen is the GOAT-RN (Greatest of All Time Right Now.) He has put together an MVP-caliber season, led the Bills to their first division title in 25 years, and delivered a JuJu Smith-Schuster-daggering huddle speech that would have given Rudy the goose pimples. If he’s not your favorite new non-Mahomes quarterback in the NFL, you’re simply not paying attention, but perhaps this latest move—a Christmas gift to his entire OL—will help wake you up and smell the coffee brewing on 17’s stove.

Jared Goff gifted his offensive line Yetis and Henny. Carson Wentz infamously hosted a hunting trip in which, miraculously, no eagles were shot. But Allen’s gift, given our obvious bias, stands head and shoulders above those of his peers (and also those of our parents—sorry not sorry, mom.) Not only did he gift the custom, Bills-trimmed Callaways, he also threw in some lessons at Craig Burn Country Club in nearby East Aurora. Personally, we’d recommend Golf Digest Schools, but beggars can't be choosers.

Hopefully for Bills fans and Allen stans alike, the gift is enough to keep 17 upright and dealing for a stretch playoff run. Those clubs are nice, but there’s not a hog molly in that locker who wants to use them before February. We don’t know much, but that much we know.
