Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims spotted sitting courtside at Game 5 of Celtics-Heat on Wednesday

The only thing Brooks Koepka loves more than winning majors (and tormenting Bryson DeChambeau) is the NBA. We have seen him courtside at NBA games countless times following his rise to golf prominence. He and wife Jena Sims were in attendance at one of the rowdiest evenings in Staples Center history. He was once dwarfed by Giannis and even virtually appeared inside the bubble. Kopeka’s latest appearance might be his greatest, however, because, well, just look at that shirt.

That was Koepka at FTX Arena for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday night. He joined legends like Timberwolves owner Alex Rodriguez and Margaritaville mayor Jimmy Buffett in attendance. Despite their various claims to fame, though, they couldn't steal the spotlight off of THAT SHIRT. Don Johnson notwithstanding, it might be the most Miami thing to happen since Ponce De Leon first sailed into Biscayne Bay in 1513. Our historians are compiling the data as we speak.

As for both Brooks and the Heat, it could be going a little better overall. The Heat were on the wrong end of yet another NBA postseason blowout on Wednesday, falling 93-80 after an abysmal third quarter that saw them turn a five-point halftime lead into an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit. Meanwhile Koepka, who racked up four majors between 2017 and 2019, becoming the most dominant golf force on earth, has seemingly burned out his pilot light. Can this drip, some playoff basketball, and his new bride rekindle the flame? Guess we’ll find out next month when the series—talking golf now—swings back to Boston.
