Charl Schwartzel / Rickie Fowler

Both the Internationals and U.S. sides donned super classic kits this whole week at the Presidents Cup. Each team cued up everything from khaki chinos to zip-mock sweater vests and the scripts just felt a little too safe for such an exciting event. Fowler and Schwartzel are two of the more athletically-styled players in the game and outside of a few bright spots, they both looked pretty pedestrian.

The US squad made a few attempts to update some iconic Americana styles, like these light gray pinstripe trousers, but they missed the mark there, too. The pinstripe is about as classic and dressy a pattern as it gets and they looked a little out of balance with the teams white vest and red polo combo.

To the same point, the pinstripe may’ve looked sharp with a freshly polished wingtip. However, we saw more of this type of pairing this week. The clean and dressy trousers looked awkward on every player in non-traditional spikes.

Jimmy Walker / Patrick Reed

The U.S. accessory game, however, was on point all week as the entire squad showed subtle, stylish moves on all sorts of outfits. From the modern, matte gray strap on Reed to the updated prep-star ribbon on Walker, the Yanks' belt game looked strong in Incheon.

Angie Watson

It wasn’t just the players perfecting the accessory swag this week, either, as Angie Watson looked fantastic supporting her guys with this American flag scarf. USA-themed gear can look corny as heck but Angie made this look effortlessly cool!

Jay Haas / Freddy Couples

And when it comes to casual cool, you’d be hard pressed to beat these two. Is Captain Haas meditating? Whatever these legends did this week, it worked. Congrats on a great win!

Adam Scott / Jason Day

These khakis may’ve look a little ho-hum on these two but I loved the idea of their complimentary kits. Scott’s wide, variegated stripe sweater created a nice link with Day’s narrow stripe polo and solid sweater vest. Keep this in mind for your next team event. If purchasing matching unis feels a little too over the top for your four-ball, this is the way to go.

Charl Schwartzel / Zach Johnson

It appeared as if the awkward tradition of golfers layering short sleeves over long sleeves plagued players on both President Cup teams this week. I wonder if I can get Nancy Reagan to say, "Just wear a sweater ... "

I pray for rain at every Ryder and Presidents Cup to see which side rocks the raddest rain gear. The Internationals took the prize easily this week and bonus points went to Oosty for this major bucket hat move. Most foul weather looks tend to be dark and drab so good on the Rest o’the Worlders for coming to play in the rain in style.

Paulina Gretzky

Well, if we’re including WAGs in the foul weather wear contest Paulina wins. Paulina always wins ...

South African Fans / Fanatics / U.S. Fans

Fans from all over the world came out to support both sides this week and we have a feeling they were all gonna party no matter which side came out on top.
