The Week In Style: U.S. Women's Open
Michelle Wie
Michelle looks terrific; like a well-dressed athlete. Her style selections are on trend, her color selections are excellent, and I think the camo tape is cool. Looks like all of the faith that Nike's expressed in supporting Michelle is coming back in spades.Nike Golf
Michelle Wie
Off the golf course as well, Michelle looks terrific. Very modern. It's not always easy to look both feminine and like an athlete, but she manages it perfectly.
Lucy Li
It's great that Lucy made the Open, and even better that she handled herself ably while still taking the time to be an 11-year-old. This outfit has fun written all over it!
Lexi Thompson
We're not used to seeing Lexi in so few colors, but she looks extremely modern and athletic. The patterned skirt not only looks cool, it adds the right amount of balance between her white shirt and black shoes.PUMA Golf
Paula Creamer
Paula in the perfect shade of turquoise right down to her signature adidas shoes. We love those shades, and we love it when she wears a color other than . . . well, you know.adidas Golf
Eri Joma
Eri Joma doing her best Ai Miyazato impersonation. While I generally don't like the black longsleeve undershirt, it works beautifully in this case with the black leggings. And take a closer look at those cool FootJoys.FootJoy
Juli Inkster
A tip of the cap to Inkster for a great run! She took a page from Tom Watson's book this week and threatened to win in her 35th and final Open. And, might I add, she looked great with the graphic color blocking and just the right amount of red detailing.
Sandra Gal
There's no one on the LPGA Tour that selects a better color palette than Sandra and those Callaway XT Tours look great. But Sandra, what's going on with those ankle wraps?Callaway Shoes
Stephanie Meadow
In her first event as a professional, the native of Northern Ireland offered some great interpretations of the basic golf skirt all week, adding some interesting twists and texture. Well done!
Sierra Sims
The ECCO Biom shoes work beautifully with this graphic outfit, proving yet again that you don't have to worry about matching your shoes to create some pop.ECCO Golf
Misuzu Narita
Narita is wearing the best pair of shorts we've seen on tour all year. We love the cuff; we think it makes for a real eye-catching design element. And the yellow shirt really pops against the white without being overbearing. She also does a great job pairing the yellow with a complimentary color in her shoes to subtly add just a bit more color.
Se Yeon Ryu
Speaking of interesting design concepts, here's another great outfit from the Open. Why can't we get these Asian designs in the American shops?
Minjee Lee
Yet another example of a terrific looking outfit, and notice the detail on those shorts. I must confess, I'm going to start watching the LPGA Tour more closely, because the players have a much wider range and sense of style than their PGA Tour counterparts.
