Travis Kelce shakes money maker at Patrick Mahomes’ charity golf tournament, looks very ready for Capital One’s The Match

With Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce's odds hovering around +265 heading into the latest installment of Capital One’s The Match on Thursday, it’s fair to call the dynamic Chiefs duo underdogs. It’s not a position they’ve been familiar with the past couple of years as they've lapped the AFC enroute to three Super Bowl appearances and two titles, but by the looks of things, they’re not letting that get to them.

This weekend, Mahomes and Kelce got warmed up for their big showdown with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson at Patrick Mahomes’ annual charity golf tournament in Hawaii, benefitting the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation. There they ironed out the final wrinkles in their moves, both on the course and off it, where Travis Kelce was seen giving hula one heckuva a shot. Check it out.

Kelce has never played golf on live television before. That alone would make most people’s palms sweat and stomachs churn, but apparently the Pro Bowl tight end isn't too worried about embarrassing himself in front of large crowds. That’ll take you a long way, not only in golf but in life.

It’s not enough for us to declare Mahomes and Kelce likely champs, or even good value, but the fact Kelce is as loose as he is bodes well for the pair. As for their opposition, Curry was seen getting his clubs regripped at a PGA Tour Superstore this week. The last time we saw him do that, he went on to win his fourth NBA Championship. Do with that information what you will.
