Without question, the Jordan brand has revolutionized how sneakers are consumed since Nike debuted Michael Jordan’s namesake designs in 1985. Aligning with Jordan’s longstanding love of golf, the brand he inspired has also started becoming a major player in the game—particularly the golf shoe world. Its popularized silhouettes, such as the Air Jordan 1s, are standouts on any golf course—often selling out hours after being released or hitting resale sites with price tags that used to only be paid by collectors searching for the rares of shoes.

The Air Jordan 1 High was the first sneaker Nike created for Michael Jordan. It was designed by Peter Moore and debut in 1985 while Jordan was in his second season with the Chicago Bulls. The golf version of this shoe has a similar Wings logo at the heel and bold color blocking across the toe, heel, ankle and on the large medial swoosh logo.

The outsole is based on the design of the original basketball outsole, but with a rubber-integrated traction system to add grip and stability. It has a one-year waterproof warranty and the brand’s Air cushioning to add comfort and energy return.

If high tops and metallic overlays aren't your style, the Air Jordan 1 Low Gs in white, phantom, volt, and black may be more your speed. It's a more neutralized shoe, with a pop of color on the tongue and heel to stand out.

The latest release of the Jordan golf shoes are attention-grabbers, but this drop introduces the new Fadeaway golf bag that's show-stopping. The Jordan-inspired golf bag is a large and exciting step into the realm of accessories for the iconic brand. Inspired by elements of Jordan's basketball career and shoe game, the golf bag is offered in three colorways—the first, a Chicago Bulls' color scheme of red, white, and black; the second a blue and white design likely inspired by his college basketball days at North Carolina; and third, an ultra-sleek black and cement colorway.

The bag boldly features the simplistic Jumpman emblem on the outer pocket and zipper pulls. Designers placed the number 23 on the should strap to allow golfers to, in a way, "wear" Jordan's number jersey number on their back.

Stylistic features aside, the Jordan Fadeaway bag was developed to house all the on-course essentials required for a round of golf, with a lace-lock umbrella cinch borrowing design elements from the Air Jordan 6 shoe and a towel ring inspired by the Air Jordan 14 basketball shoes. It has a six-way, full-length divider for easy organization and detachable, ergonomic carrying straps that can be used on one or both shoulders.

Another accessory that caught our eye in this recent Nike Jordan golf release was the Jordan Tour golf glove. It's a sheepskin leather glove that has a premium feel, durable build that's made to last and stretch fabric across the back of the glove to enhance range of motion.

The simple black and white design lets Jordan's Jumpman logo shine. It's a simple and budget-friendly way to add Jordan-esque style to your look without transitioning to high-top golf shoes—if that's not your style.

On the apparel side, the Air Jordan team designed a new lightweight quarter-zip jacket that would layer perfectly over the simple, solid collection of Dri-Fit polos and tees. (Note: there are extremely limited size offerings in the Jordan Dri-Fit Polos, though we're keeping our eye out for a restock).

For bottoms, the collection also includes a pair of stretch-woven golf pants with unique angled cargo pockets that add utility in both storage and styling. Similar in design, the Jordan Dri-Fit Golf Shorts have cargo pockets on each leg. The right pocket has a tonal Jumpman logo and vertical zipper secondary pocket for even more storage.

The Jordan Dri-Fit Men's Golf Diamond Shorts are as close as you can get to wearing basketball shorts on the golf course while still abiding to most dress codes. A diamond basketball-short-like design is incorporated into the side seam of these shorts subtly to add a touch of intrigue to the seemingly simple khaki or black shorts.

Overall, the recent Jordan golf drop from Nike is a balance of fashion-forward looks that are—for the most part—appropriate for any golf venue, full of performance-ready technologies and stylishly honoring the basketball (and golf) great.
