Wilson Staff
Wilson FG Tour V6
Our Review:
This is an iron that appeals to the shot-maker thanks to 38 grams of mass behind the impact area to improve feel. But it also features forgiveness elements: There's tungsten in the toe and heel of the long irons to improve off-center hits. Another tungsten slug is low and centered in the middle irons to make it easier to launch the ball.
Specs: 6-iron: 31 degrees; PW: 47
Price: $1,000

Surprisingly forgiving. Accurate and consistent. -

They look stunning at address and they have really improved the mid and high irons. So much easier to get the ball up in the air. Has a little power boost to it, too. Feel is consistent throughout the set. It's one of those new models that is an actual improvement over the previous iteration. -

The ball roars off the face. -

Tiny little surgical implements. Like a scalpel and that precise. Surprisingly easy to eat. Surprisingly forgiving. Supreme accuracy. Shocking how consistent it was. Never had a problem with digging.
