TaylorMade

TaylorMade P770

Our Review:

In recent years TaylorMade has lacked an iron that looked like a tour club. That's not the case here. Presented in a frame that screams tour-pro ability, the forged, carbon-steel hosel and face are joined to a 70-gram tungsten sole piece in the 3- through 7-irons to help launch and forgiveness.
Specs: 6-iron: 30 degrees; PW: 46
Price: $1,200

The compact head shape is ideal.

I didn't feel like I had to work very hard with this at any point. The weight at the bottom and toward the toe offers a nice balance. The set seemed to flow very nicely from club to club.

Gets through the ball with minimal effort.

A really energetic club. The ball jumped off the face and had good forgiveness and playability. Really liked the trajectory. Helped get the ball in the air more than other sets.
