Ping i200

The Verdict: The MP-25 is forged from a boron-infused carbon steel that the company uses in its JPX 900 Forged game-improvement iron. Stronger than traditional steel, the boron allows for a thinner clubface and a slot behind the face that provides additional ball speed. That means these play like an old set of blades—just on steroids.
Loft: 6-iron: 30 degrees; PW: 46
Street Price: $1,200

    Offers help without sacrificing feel.

Looks stylish and the topline is par for the course for this category. Definitely get a buttery forged feel when you hit the sweet spot. It feels pure and the ball travels a good distance.

Great sizzle off the face with tons of pop.

Lively, yet soft. Best analogy is one of those memory foam pillows, so not quite super soft, but responsive.
