Titleist 716 AP2

Our Review:

The company didn't tinker much with a club that players were happy with. That's not to say they didn't advance it from the previous AP2. Tungsten in the heel and toe provides a lower center of gravity and better effectiveness on mis-hits. The sole is also wider with more trailing edge relief, helping produce crisp divots.

As close to using a blade without actually using a blade.

Lots of consistency and a soft feel off the face. Easy to elevate. Has that automatic tour ball flight that rises and makes you feel like you are compressing the ball.

    A robust feeling at impact.

It was beautiful. Wonderful rising trajectory. Straight as an arrow. Good spin. Love the clean click. Good compact head size.
