“This is a very fun golf course to play. Very much reminisce of a George Thomas design. The front nine has small greens wrapped around foreboding oaks.....very California....and the course is in great shape. The back nine has a few less interesting holes but on the most part a good golf course and a fair test of golf."

“OVI is worth playing if staying at the resort. The value is not there otherwise. It has George Thomas roots but sadly too many changes have been made over the years to recognize most of them."

“George Thomas designed Resort course in the Ojai Valley. Lots of tricky short holes with some blind tee shot dogleg par 4's. A couple of great holes. Fun golf course. Of not: One of the best holes (18) on the golf course has been changed for a new convention center which is a real shame."

“Everyone was very welcoming. It is a high end resort and spa so expect it to be a busy facility. Great views from many of the holes. The course was in fantastic shape with the greens rolling fairly fast and true. It gets a lot of play so be prepared to hit out of a few divots. The course is short, so it may be best to leave the driver in the car/hotel room. The course was made more difficult in the late 80's to entice numerous pros in the area. You are going to need a well placed tee shot to undulating greens to score well here."
