Places to Play

Golf Digest’s Places to Play franchise is back. In the 1990s and 2000s, Golf Digest rated all public golf courses with star ratings that some still advertise today. We have revitalized our beloved franchise for the digital age—producing the go-to destination for comprehensive information about  U.S. golf courses. The Golf Digest Places to Play experience leverages the expertise of our 1,900-plus Golf Digest course panelists to bring you knowledge and first-hand experience about courses around the country. In the coming months, readers will also have the ability to rate golf courses via our 1-to-5 star rating scale, ensuring Places to Play will once again become your go-to guide for all golf-course inquiries.
