Michael Block holes incredible shot while playing with DJ Khaled, can't stop winning
Two of the sport’s biggest influencers shared a heartfelt moment on the golf course, and might have become best friends.
Michael Block, who quickly rose to fame at the PGA Championship when he made the cut and jarred a hole-in-one at Oak Hill playing with Rory McIlory, and Golf Digest cover star DJ Khaled played together at Miami Beach Golf Club earlier today.
On the par-5 opening hole, Block sunk his shot from the left rough, prompting Khaled to leap into his playing partner’s arms. Thankfully for all of us, it was captured on video and posted on Instagram.
In the caption, Khaled announced that he and Block will be teammates at the We The Best Foundation Golf Classic at Miami Beach Golf Club, the charity golf event hosted by the award-winning rapper and producer on July 20th.
DJ Khaled recently returned from a trip to New York, where he posted pictures and videos playing at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton and at Liberty National Golf Club with former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz.
The We The Best Foundation Golf Classic should be a star-studded event, with a celebrity guest list that includes NFL receiver Odell Beckham Jr., World Long Drive champion Kyle Berkshire, pro golfers Bubba Watson and Pat Perez, musical artists Quavo and Luis Fonsi and more.
Oh, and shameless plug, Block whipped out a copy of the DJ Khaled cover issue of Golf Digest in the car after their round. We guess when Khaled sings "All I do is win, win, win" he was really talking about Michael Block.
