Get well soon, Tiger
Masters 2021: An absent Tiger Woods will be missed at Tuesday's Champions Dinner
For those hoping to see Tiger Woods miraculously show up at the Masters Champion Dinner, sadly, it's not going to happen. That doesn't mean the five-time green jacket winner won't be on the minds of those still attending, though.
Ahead of Tuesday night's annual Masters week tradition, Woods is expected to be honored during the meal.
Of course, it would be much better if Woods were actually there. But at least we know there will be future Masters Champions Dinners for the 15-time major champ in the future after he survived a February car accident in Los Angeles.
Woods is currently recovering at home and there's no timetable on his return to professional golf. With the biggest week on the golf calendar on tap, he'll be missed by fans and friends on tour. Here's how Fred Couples is paying homage to Woods as well:
Well played, Freddie. Even Tiger chimed in on Twitter with a funny message to the dinner's host, Dustin Johnson:
Of course, if Tiger really wants to feel like he's there, he could always put some pigs in a blanket in the microwave.
