Just wait until the no-hoodie warriors get a load of Malbon’s new Budweiser collab

December 16, 2020

Honestly, we’re not going to get sucked into golf’s Great Hoodie Debate right now. Not only do we not want to give lip service to something so logically bankrupt, but it’s the holidays, and now is the time for arguing with your nuclear family, not strangers on the internet. That said, if you’re on the fence about hoodies, go ahead and turn back now, because you’re going to HATE what comes next.

That’s Malbon’s new Budweiser collab, and, for our money, it's the boldest golf style statement since Paulina showed up to Masters Sunday decked head-to-toe in green (that’s like wearing white to a wedding, but another topic for another time.) The collection includes a hat, sweatpants, crew neck sweatshirt, and tour staff bag, and despite being available for less than 24 hours at the time of writing, only the sweatshirt and sweatpants remain, in limited sizes. We guess it’s true what they say, to the early bird goes the Bud.

If you’re familiar with the LA-based brand, repped by the likes of Eric Koston and other hip golf heads, then you’re also probably aware of the Supreme-esque pricing. The King of Beers collab is no different. The sweatshirt and sweatpants retail for $152 each, while the bag, well, that’s sold out and you’d probably rather not know. That said, it’s hard to put a price on decking your halls like a Bud heavy can this holiday season . . . unless, of course, you’re a Banquet man.
