If you like Luka Doncic and hate Duke, you will LOVE the wild finish of this NBA game
Luka Doncic is magic. There's no other way to put it.
Whether it's slick passes or absurd stepback three-pointers, the NBA has never seen anything quite like him. And on Wednesday night, he pulled off perhaps his most incredible trick. At least, until the next time he plays.
But making this result even sweeter to many fans was the fact that while Luka was the hero, Grayson Allen was the goat. Yes, that Grayson Allen. And no, not the good kind of GOAT.
The former Duke shooting tripping guard has found a nice home in Memphis and was having a nice game against the Mavericks until the final couple seconds. Allen, a 91-percent free throw shooter who was 3-of-3 on the night and had 23 points, was fouled with 1.8 seconds to go. He promptly did this:
You really hate to see it. Of course, it still wouldn't have mattered if the Grizzlies could have stopped the Mavericks. But again, Luka. Magic. Abracadabra!
