There’s just one more week separating us from the biggest week on golf’s calendar. As you agonize over your Masters bets, a revamped Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston will host this week’s Houston Open in the lead-up to this fall 2020 Masters.

It’s an intriguing week in many ways. The Houston Open returns to this municipal course that hosted the tournament in 1947 and from 1951-’63 and was reconstructed by Tom Doak in 2019, along with Brooks Koepka, who acted as a player consultant. Koepka is in the field in his second appearance following his injury that led to his WD from the U.S. Open. Two other players will return to competition at the Houston Open—Dustin Johnson and Adam Scott—after testing positive for COVID-19 in recent weeks. Despite the uncertainty, DJ is pegged as the heavy favorite by Vegas oddsmakers (7-1), as big a favorite as any golfer has been in 2020.

Of course, DJ was the hottest golfer on the planet at the end of last season. The current World No. 1-ranked golfer won the FedEx Cup after winning the Northern Trust and the Travelers Championship, along with close calls at the PGA Championship and BMW Championship, plus a T-6 at the U.S. Open.

The rest of the field is strong, too, as players prepare for the Masters the following week. Here are the complete odds for every player currently in the field for the 2020 Houston Open.
