Golf Digest Podcast: Jerry Kelly on surviving as a short hitter, hanging with Aaron Rodgers, and trying to end Bernhard Langer's senior reign

As a short-hitting golfer from Wisconsin, Jerry Kelly was always somewhat of an underdog on the PGA Tour. But he's morphed into a senior tour juggernaut in recent weeks. Kelly recently picked up his first two PGA Tour Champions titles in a four-tournament stretch in which he also broke the tour's record for most consecutive rounds in the 60s with 14.

To set that mark, Kelly passed Hail Irwin, and now he has his sights on taking down another senior tour legend as the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs approach: Bernhard Langer. The 60-year-old German is in position to win a fourth consecutive Schwab Cup, but he'll have competition from the likes of the red-hot Kelly, Scott McCarron, and Kenny Perry. We caught up with Kelly and discussed a variety of things from his rookie season on the senior circuit to his partnership with Exact Sciences to promote colon cancer screening to his Presidents Cup memories to his thoughts on his beloved Wisconsin Badgers and golf bud Aaron Rodgers.
