Misty taste of moonshine
German NFL fans sing John Denver classic, it doesn’t get better than this
Karaoke is tough. Karaoke for an entire football stadium is tougher.
In the United States, it takes an infamous fireman to get a bunch of drunk New Yorkers to yell “J-E-T-S.” When it comes to chants and songs, our international brethren certainly have their act together.
I mean, look at this… They’re singing a full song. From the ol’ U.S. of A. While wearing all sorts of NFL jerseys. It could bring a tear to one’s eye.
The Europeans certainly love their alcohol and sports, and we respect the hell out of that.
Imagine trying to get a group together to sing a full song. One time, a friend and I did Beyonce’s “Countdown” at a karaoke bar. I slowly read the words off the screen and she sang “Love on Top” simultaneously. It was a mess. What we needed was the backing of the entire Allianz Arena to pitch in.
Put more NFL games in Germany. Perhaps move the Denver Broncos out there. I’m sick of watching Russell Wilson during normal NFL hours.
