Adorable baby monkey steals the show at South African Open
If there's one thing you can expect when the DP World Tour heads to South Africa, it's that you're going to see some crazy wildlife on the golf course. Americans go crazy when we see a few deer out there, but these tournaments can feel like you're on a safari with Justin Thomas and Max Homa.
But while usually these sightings involve deadly animals—like this legendary tussle between a king cobra and a mongoose a few years back—we're happy that Thursday's first round of the South African featured something much cuter. Have a look at this adorable baby monkey that stole the show in Johannesburg.
Awww. Look at that little guy! (Or gal. I'm not a wildlife expert.) Maybe I have a soft spot for tiny monkeys with my daughters going through an "Aladdin" phase of late (Shout-out Abu), but don't you want to take that thing home with you?
Then again, it's probably a lot more dangerous than it looks. Plus, you'd have to deal with mama monkey:
And she looks tough. OK, better just to watch. From afar. Way afar.
