Review
“Richmond Country Club is a fairly typical older design routed through eastern Virginia woodlands. The property is pretty flat (the course is quite easy to walk) and not overly long. One of the main features of the course is a stream that is about two feet wide that meanders throughout the property and seems to come into play on about 20 of the 18 holes. The stream always seems to be where you don't want it, and it can become confounding after a few hours. There are a few quirky holes that require local knowledge and some greens with fairly extreme contours. I wouldn't make a special trip, but you can certainly do a lot worse than RCC in the Richmond area."
