A good pair of women's golf pants is hard to find. I never thought I'd find a great pair at Old Navy. I hadn’t considered Old Navy’s athletic wear until a golf instructor and fitness trainer mentioned liking their line, saying that you get a lot of quality for the price. Of the few pieces I've bought, one pair of pants stands out: The High-Waisted PowerSoft 7/8 Jogger For Women. When I wear them to the golf course, I get more compliments on these pants than any other pair of golf pants I’ve ever worn.

They’re a polyester/spandex blend, so they have a lot of stretch and you never feel like your motion is restricted. The waistband is wide and provides a little compression, which makes them flattering. Tapering at the ankle gives these joggers a sporty look, but they don’t feel overly casual. I’ve worn them everywhere: To the range, to public golf courses, to private country clubs and resort golf courses. Never once has someone questioned if they pass the dress code.

These pants are also a quality item for how long they’ve lasted: I bought my pair three years ago, and other women golfers complimented them multiple times last golf season. Even after three seasons, they still look great.

The only complaint I have is that they don’t have back pockets. It’s not a major problem, I just tuck my glove into the back of the waistband instead.

Usually, these pants cost $40. They’re worth that and more, as far as I’m concerned, but right now they’re on sale for $22, and come in eight different colors. So, if you’re looking to add a versatile jogger to your golf wardrobe, now’s the time.
