Travis Scott and Reggie Jackson team up for Celebrity Golf Classic and the invite list is unbelievable

    December 14, 2023

If you had eight-time Grammy nominee Travis Scott and Mr. October Reggie Jackson teaming up for a charity golf tournament on today’s bingo card, congratulations. You didn’t win a single cent, but you’re one of the select few who saw this epic collaboration one coming.

Despite its unlikely origins, the 2024 edition of the Mr. October Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic—the first hosted in partnership with Scott—sounds like a chart-topping hit. Set to be held Monday, January 29th at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida, proceeds from the private event will go toward enhancing educational opportunities for underserved youth in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.

““We take great pride in the fact that our STEM curriculum has reached over one million students,” says Jackson of the Mr. October Foundation. “I want to thank Travis Scott for his shared and longstanding commitment to ensuring that no matter where children live, they should have access to quality learning environments.”

Sounds like a worthy endeavor to us, and it seems like we’re not the only ones who think so. Over 25 superstar athletes and A-list celebrities are tentatively scheduled to tee it up next month, including Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter, Justin Verlander, Barry Bonds, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Adrian Peterson, Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Rob Gronkowski, Joe Namath, Allen Iverson, Lil Wayne, Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Mackie, 50 Cent, Dave Chappelle, DJ Khaled, Morgan Wallen and many more. Rounding out arguably the best celebrity golf field of all time will be legends of the game like Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and the one and only Jack Nicklaus.

The final list of attendees will be announced in January, but with a cause this great and a field this iconic, we’d give just about anything to be a fly on that clubhouse wall.
