Tony Finau's wife was the loudest—and only—fan at the Tour Championship on Sunday
The notion that no fans are allowed at PGA Tour events is a bit of a misnomer. Each player is allowed a member of his "team," and significant others have been allowed inside of golf's bubble since last month. Not surprisingly, spouses can be some of the loudest supporters.
Such was the case during Sunday at the Tour Championship. With a third-round 66, Tony Finau made a nice move up the leader board, and he certainly felt—and heard—the love along the way.
Watch this collection of highlights Tony shared following his round in which you can clearly hear his wife, Alayna, cheering him on. In particular, she let loose when he drained a long par birdie on the 17th hole, drawing a smile from Finau. Hey, there's a lot of money on the line at East Lake this week:
Good stuff, guys. What a team they make. And with four kids, getting to watch a round of golf is probably the closest this couple gets to a date night these days.
