Patrick Mahomes completes construction of dream home with backyard par-3 golf hole
It’s no secret that Patrick Mahomes is a full-fledged golf sicko. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is fresh off his second appearance in Capital One’s The Match, springing an upset victory over the Splash Brothers in Las Vegas. He reportedly gifted his entire O-line golf clubs for Christmas and we even (somewhat facetiously) credited the installation of his custom backyard putting green with sparking the Chiefs' storybook run to their first Super Bowl victory in half a century.
Now no. 15 is taking things to a whole new level with the completion of he and wife Brittany Mahomes' dream home in Cass County, Missouri, replete with a 50-yard football field with name scrawled in the end zone, a sprawling backyard pool deck, a man-made pond and, yes, even his very own par-3 golf hole. Feast your eyes.
Not bad. Not bad at all. Beyond that, details on the backyard golf oasis remain scant, but we’re sure we’ll get a closer look on Mahomes’ Instagram soon enough. In the meantime, the celebrity golf circuit better start shaking in their spikes. Mahomes, who will compete in the American Century Championship this week, already has two Lombardi Trophies to his name. From the looks of things, he’ll soon have soon have some serious golf hardware to go with them.
