Mexico Open odds 2023: It's (almost) Jon Rahm vs. the field
Andrew Redington
If there was ever a week for it to be "Jon Rahm vs. The Field," this would be the one. But thanks to the presence of Tony Finau at the Mexico Open, we're not quite there yet.
But we're certainly close, with Rahm opening as a +280 favorite to defend his title at Vidanta. Finau, who finished runner-up to Rahm in this event a year ago, is next at +800.
Then comes a massive odds leap, with the next name, Wyndham Clark, checking in at 20-1. Clark's a fine player coming off a third place finish with Beau Hossler at the Zurich Classic, but him being the third favorite tells you all you need to know about the strength of this field. Gary Woodland, who has not won since the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, is. next at 30-1, followed by Maverick McNealy, who has yet to win on tour. Alex Noren and Zurich winner Davis Riley are among a group of four players at 35-1.
Below are the odds for every player in the field at the 2023 Mexico Open.
