Presidents Cup 2022: Max Homa summed up the U.S. team's celebrations in the simplest (and funniest) way possible
To the surprise of absolutely no one, the U.S. team are the 2022 Presidents Cup champions. In fact, the only surprise at Quail Hollow was how close it actually was, with a LIV-depleted international squad playing their hearts out down the stretch. The final tally was of little concern to the stars n’ stripes, however, who kicked off the celebrations—led by party-master-in-chief Kevin Kisner—as soon as the final horn sounded.
Of course, what goes up must come down, a lesson Max Homa learned the hard way on Monday morning when he woke up, rolled over, and tweeted a very succinct (and very relatable) summation of Sunday night’s celebrations.
He also got a co-sign from Justin Thomas ...
Sounds like Homa didn’t leave Charlotte undefeated after all. Not that we can blame him. In fact, if you have to blame someone, blame Kiz.
