Presidents Cup 2022: On a scorching-hot mic, Kevin Kisner jokingly calls Si Woo Kim 'the ugliest f---er out here'
In terms of production, Kevin Kisner was a bit of a no-show at this week's Presidents Cup, where he mustered up 0.5 points in three matches played, going 0-2-1. When it comes to vibes, though, Kiz went 5-0-0.
The beauty of Kisner? He doesn't just bring the laughs in the American team room. Following the U.S.'s 17.5-12.5 victory at Quail Hollow, the U.S. team and the International team shook hands on the 18th green. NBC cameras made sure to get up close to capture the respectful embrace, and they couldn't have timed an exchange between Kisner, K.H. Lee and Si Woo Kim any better. In the clip below, Kisner first shakes Lee's hand, then tells him he's the "most handsome man in America," a possible call back to Lee once saying one of his two biggest golf goals is to become the sexiest golfer in the world.
Next up was Si Woo, or, as Kisner called him, "Si Woah." Listen as Kisner jokingly calls him "the ugliest f---er out here":
Simply incredible. And a confirmation that Kisner, who was in the last match on the course, swiftly got some of the good stuff in that water bottle of his. That or he just had those two lines prepared way in advance.
Reminder: this was clearly a joke. Everyone relax. Just guys being dudes.
P.S. Going to be a long night, indeed:
During the victory press conference, Kisner perfectly summed up his role on this week's team, and delivered a message to his much younger teammates.
"My experience can ultimately win in this scenario," Kisner said when asked about the evening's festivities. "There is nothing that any of these can do that can hang with me tonight, I promise you.
"I have never seen a better display of golfers and a worse display of partiers, and I am the best partier on this board. Amen," he added.
"That's why they picked me. I got half a point, but I brought the fun."
