Marshawn Lynch learns he's being featured on a Skittles pack, celebrates appropriately
Sports fans will never stop wondering why Marshawn Lynch wasn't given the ball on the 1-yard line in Super Bowl XLIX. But they no longer have to wonder why the powerful Oakland Raiders running back hasn't been commemorated on a pack of Skittles.
The man who famously eats the colorful candy before, after, and during NFL games now has his smiling face featured on select bags. Skittles has made a special-edition "Marshawn's Pack," 2,400 of which will be available for free on MarshawnsPack.com. These silver-and-black bags will also be available to fans attending the Aug. 24 Raiders pre-season game (If you haven't figured it out, Lynch wears No. 24).
Anyway, the best part of all this was seeing Lynch's reaction to seeing himself on his favorite product. Check it out:
"Mama, we did it!" Lynch says with a laugh before diving into a sea of Skittles. He is truly a kid in a candy shop. Only if the candy shop has all its contents on the floor.
Anyway, good for you, Marshawn. This was long overdue.
