Justin Thomas is on such a roll that he's holing chip shots from on the green now

October 20, 2017

Justin Thomas didn't have a round to remember on Friday at the CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges, but he did hit the shot that had everyone talking. Even though it only came from about four feet away.

The reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year was facing a short par putt on the fifth hole, but with a patch of spike marks in between his ball and the hole he decided to go with a wedge instead of a putter. And then he did this:

OK, JT is just showing off now.

Even with a two-over-par 74, Thomas is still just one shot back of leader Luke List heading into the weekend in South Korea. And if he's anywhere near as accurate on the greens with his putter as he is his sand wedge, the rest of the field is in trouble.
