Chargers quarterbacks slice up victory brisket while studying tape after Sunday’s win, are your new fav QB room

October 04, 2022

Here’s an interesting question: Regardless of your NFL tribal affiliation, which team has your favorite QB room? The Bills are a good answer, with Josh Allen and Case Keenum bringing eternally sunny vibes to eternally sunless Buffalo. Geno “I Ain’t Write Back” Smith and Drew Lock are the best buddy-cop duo since Lee and Carter while Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe might actually be the same person. Has anyone ever seen them in the same room? Something to put a pin in.

The correct answer, however, is the Los Angeles Chargers. Not because of Justin Herbert’s howitzer arm. Not because Chase Daniel owns the highest pay-per-snap ratio in NFL history. It’s because of this video, which finds the Chargers signal callers smoking up a quick victory brisket in the film room as part of the best new post-win tradition in football. Take it away, fellas.

Danggggg. Look at that thing. Killer crust. Perfect amount of pink. Guy Fieri gives this four flamin’ bowling shirts out of five. Madden gives it three Turduckens wing sup from the great broadcast booth in the sky. It’s glorious. It’s mouthwatering. Yes, we’re hungry. Why do you ask?

All that said, it remains to be seen how conducive a heavy slab of smoked beef is to studying tape. But hey, it can’t be worse than Kyler Murray splitscreening cover zero with Call for Duty. Not to mention the fact Sunday kicks off a run of four straight for the Chargers against the Browns, Broncos, Seahawks, and Falcons. These dudes could be in a food coma until next month and still go 4-0. So yeah, let them eat cake brisket.
