Julian Suri misses cut by 1 after missing tap-in, turns it into a teaching moment

Julian Suri suffered a rare stumble on Friday in what has been a meteoric rise in the Official World Golf Ranking. The 26-year-old who climbed more than 1,000 spots in the OWGR last season missed the cut by one shot at this week's Qatar Masters on the European Tour. And as one golf fan watching TV coverage pointed out, it wasn't tough to single out what that one shot was:

That hurts. And if you don't get the Kevin Na reference, Na was extra deliberate over a short putt at last week's Genesis Open, which caused cricket legend Kevin Pietersen to mock him by posting footage and making his own video. And Na posted his own retort on Instagram, officially creating one of the most unlikely social media beefs ever.

By tagging Suri with that tweet on Friday, another Twitter war could have started. However, the young star handled it well, even taking the opportunity to use his miscue as a teaching lesson:
