Big Cat Energy
Jayson Tatum rolled up to Game 5 in possibly the sickest Tiger Woods shirt the world has ever seen
It’s a BIG week for Boston sports. The Celtics and Warriors are squaring off in the NBA Finals while out in Brookline the U.S. Open returns to The Country Club with countless storylines in tow. On Monday, those two sides of the same R-dropping Venn diagram converged when Jayson Tatum pulled up to the Chase Center in San Francisco for Game 5 rocking a Tiger Woods t-shirt for the ages.

Eye of the tiger indeed. Obviously Woods won’t be playing in the U.S. Open this week and unfortunately Tatum's Big Cat Energy wasn’t enough to lift the Celtics to their second road win of the series, but the flex did seem to inspire the Celtics star, who finished the night with a double-double including 27 points on 50% shooting and 10 boards. In fact, he was so dangerous that Daymond Green and his goons were seen trying to take the ball off him during a 4th-quarter timeout so he couldn’t get any additional shots up. Here’s Tatum on the interaction (though mostly it’s just another excuse to look at that shirt).
The series now shifts back to Boston for Game 6 on Thursday with the Celtics facing elimination. We know Celts fans bleed green, but if there were a time for some final-round red, this is it.
