This video of a golfer stuck in the mud so bad he needs to be rescued by the fire department is HoF worthy

October 07, 2020

This week, we brought you the story of Zak Bornhoft, a Colorado golf who was gored by an elk mid-round, carving his kidney clean in a half. While Bornhoft survived the incident and is in good spirits, there is no doubt in our minds that he is the current Unluckiest Golfer on Earth belt holder. Or rather, there was no doubt in our minds until we came across this video of a UK golfer who got so hopelessly, helplessly stuck in the mud looking for his ball, that he needed to be extracted by what appears to be virtually an entire fire department. Laugh at your own karmic risk, you monsters.

To make matters even worse, the guy was wearing white pants. When it rains, it pours, folks.

As for your burning questions, we don’t have a ton of answers. Was it a Pro V1? What sort of alien mud is this? How many firefighters does it take to screw in a lightbulb pull a guy out of some muck? Do you have to change your name and switch club memberships after this? Allegedly, no idea, at least three, and abso freakin’ lutely.

But hey, at least our friend here can take some solace in the fact he’s not mounted on some elk’s antlers like a hood ornament right now. If this there’s one thing we can say with certainty, it’s this:

No matter how badly you soil your pants, it can always get worse.
