What Are You Gonna Do?

This pathetic 'hold me back' performance from an Avalanche fan has no place in an NHL arena

As much as we enjoyed mocking the hell out of Dallas Cowboys fans on Monday, you have to give them this -- they ain't afraid to actually throw hands. Sure, they were literally throwing hands at each other, but at least they aren't a bunch of fake tough guys.

The same can't be said for this Colorado Avalanche fan, who might be the fakest tough guy in the history of fake tough guys. In a clip making the rounds from Monday evening, the fan in question puts on one of the all-time "hold-me-back" performances ever, the type normally reserved for when the benches clear in a MLB game:

We're not encouraging fighting at sporting events, in fact, we're actively discouraging it. As we explained Monday, it's one of the lowest points you could find yourself in in life. That being said, this might be more embarrassing. Forty-two straight seconds of HOLD ME BACK BRO with zero interest in actually doing anything. And this guy calls himself a hockey fan? The sport where the players are literally allowed to drop the gloves and settle differences with their fists. Tough look, my guy.

By the way, if you look a little closer, you'll notice that the only thing this dude hit was the woman sitting to his left. Seriously, go back and focus on the three-second mark, when he slaps the hell out of the girl sitting to his left and everyone just kind of sits there and watches it happen. Great job by everyone involved. Maybe if he had five more tall boy Coors Lights he may have actually swung on these Minnesota Wild fans.
