Cody Bellinger answers internet's most pressing question: is he high all the time?

Throughout the MLB postseason, one of the running jokes was that L.A. Dodgers slugger Cody Bellinger was high as a kite during the games. Although, can something be a "running joke" if there's a legitimate chance it's true?

That man is looking like JR Smith at 4:21 p.m. on April 20th. Ripped. Zooted. On Mars. Whatever the kids are saying these days. It wasn't that wild of an accusation, not only because Bellinger gives off the stoner vibe, but because he wouldn't be the first professional athlete to spark up before a game. Multiple NBA and NFL players have gone on record saying they did it before games. If you can play those two high-pace sports high, you can certainly play baseball high, not that we're recommending it.

During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Bellinger answered the internet's most-pressing question: is he high all the time? And the way he worded it was perfect.

"I am not high during the games, OK?" Bellinger said. "If you look at me in the Little League World Series I look faded. I was not smoking when I was 12 either. I'm not high, that's just how my face looks."

Interesting use of the word "during" from Bellinger, implying that he's not high during the game. After that, all bets are off.

Here's the clip, in which Bellinger is making a peculiar gesture while defending himself. Makes you think:

OK Cody. Whatever you say. Maybe he's just got that eternal, laid back surfer look.
