Jessica Korda tends to stand out on the LPGA Tour not only for her talent, but her bright, fun and functional style. Korda's bold pops of color and fitted pieces do a nice job of creating a perfectly balanced feminine-yet-athletic look that is to be envied.
With one win already under her belt this season, the Floridian charged this weekend at the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship. The five-time LPGA Tour winner climbed to the top of the leader board to play in the final group with eventual winner Lydia Ko before finishing T-3. Here's what we liked from Korda's outfits this weekend, where she had to dress for some chilly West Coast weather, but did so in nice fashion:
First-round low temperatures prioritized warmth over style, but Korda's ensemble selections were strong through the weekend. The 25-year-old rocked three shades of Adidas' adistar printed golf pants at Lake Merced Golf Club. The eye-catching bottoms were a bold choice, but looked great with a slim-cut fit and simple accessorizing.
Whether for warmth or fashion, she layered the look with a simple black puffer vest—a smart move when working with bright or loud-patterned bottoms. Korda also kept her first layer quiet with basic long-sleeved solids. An Adidas Ultimate365 Heather polo in white complimented her second-round electric blue pants, the light purple Adidas V-Neck Sweater brightened up her third-round grey/white bottoms, and a simple white hooded sweatshirt kept the final-round turquoise-and-blue pattern under control.
Paired with the pedal-pusher length pant, Korda's monochromatic Adidas adicross bounce golf shoes gave her almost a 1950's-sock-hop inspired look that was energetic and stylish.
Though Korda came up short as Ko found the winner's circle for the first time since 2016, Korda looked the part once again.
