Angel Yin pays tribute to Coach Prime with amazing shirt after winning $1 million

November 16, 2023

Before a fella by the name of Connor Stalions burst onto the scene, Coach Prime—AKA the artist formerly known as Deion Sanders—was the main character of the 2023 college football season. In his first year as head coach of Colorado, the former NFL/MLB star ruffled feathers and racked up soundbites as he led one of the worst programs in Power Five football back from the brink. It didn't sit well with some, but the swagger was undeniable and intoxicating, trickling down to his platoon of talented transfers, neutral fans and even LPGA Tour pro Angel Yin, who rocked this incredible tribute to Prime as she topped the Aon Risk Reward Challenge rankings on Wednesday.

She even got the sunglasses right. You love to see it. Yin took home a million big ones for her season-long title, which averages the two best scores from each player’s eligible events to determine golf’s best strategic decision maker throughout the year. The moment was one of the biggest of Yin’s career, having played the last four years without a personal sponsor or victory before breaking through in 2023.

Now it’s time for Coach Prime to take a page out of Yin’s playbook. After starting 3-0, the Buffaloes have won just one game, sitting second from bottom in the Pac-12. If they can win their last two games against fellow strugglers Washington State and 19th-ranked Utah, however, Colorado can become bowl eligible for just the third time since 2007. Can we get a "LET'S GO BUFFALOES"???
