“Painted Valley may be the toughest courses in the state of Utah. It almost certainly is when the wind blows as it often does here. But don't let that keep you from visiting if you have the chance. It will certainly test your game, especially on the challenging elevated greens, but the conditions and facilities are superb and the views of the surrounding mountains are stunning. Many new homes have been built in recent years and they are getting closer and closer to the holes and actually are in range in a few places. If get a chance to play Painted Valley, do it! You'll get to experience one of the best courses in the state of Utah no matter what you shoot. The staff is very welcoming and helpful."

“Promontory is a fancy club in Park City. It is a privilege to get an invite. The Painted Valley/Nicklaus course is very difficult. It is also set in a canyon/valley and plays in mostly just two directions. Very windy. Be ready for a challenging round of golf."
