“Pleasant course in very rural area of Hurricane. Generous fairways with some challenge in the green complexes. Good conditions, though some areas are not fully grown in, even though the course is four years old. Greens are true but not fast. Only a couple of unique holes. Mostly straight holes without too much elevation change."

“Pleasant track in the desert, though is is more of a parkland layout. Generous fairways, and hidden challenge around the greens. Conditions were about average for the area. Greens were true but not fast. Reasonably fun."

“Course has a mixture of good and bad holes (especially on the back 9 with extreme elevation changes). For only $75 more, can play nearby Black Desert which is much better and also includes drinks and food on the course in the green fee. The green fee at Copper Rock is too high for the lower quality of the golf experience."

“Course has a mixture of some good holes (especially on the flatter front 9) and some bad holes (especially on the back 9 with extreme elevation changes). Course conditioning is only fair, while esthetics are diminished by nearby condos and homes."

“Front 9 pretty solid stretch of holes, but the fun begins on the back 9. Elevation changes are extreme on the back 9's routing."

“Popular place with tee times spaced close together. Pace of play was well over 5 hours. Weird start and finish having to drive the cart path two full holes while golfers are play in front or behind you. Conditioning was okay and some fun holes with with two short par 4s and some nice vistas. Worth playing if you are in the area if you can get a deal or the first tee time."

“Still young and rough around the edges but lots of fun and promise here. Should age well, currently a diamond in the rough."

“Unique and beautiful views surround a very quirky design. Some very strange and long green complexes that are interesting. Water on the course seems forced and out of place. Good course, not fantastic. A ways away from everything else."

“Newer course in good condition. Quite short (6800yds), but they are adding additional back tees on a few holes. A lot of choices on shortish Par 4's. Very enjoyable round...does not beat you up. Landing areas are mostly generous. Nice place."

“Opened in 2020, this relatively new course is located in the Hurricane Valley in southern Utah at the base of the Pine Valley Mountains and Hurricane Cliffs. The course moves through and over sand dunes covered in native grasses and sage brush against a backdrop of rustic colored sandstone formations. When played, the course played firm and fast from tee to green with a very good variety of short and long holes. Fairways were fairly expansive and framed by deep faced knobby white sand bunkers. Uniquely designed green complexes (deep knobby surrounding bunkers and closely mowed runoff areas) created putting and scoring challenges. For example, both the 9th and 18th holes require uphill approach shots and share a green which includes a deep bunker in the middle effectively separating the two pins. Additionally, there were several long skinny greens requiring accurate approach shots to score. An example is the par 5 fifth hole green which runs 75 yards snake like from to front to back. While the front nine is fairly level, the back nine moves up and down over two hills creating options / challenges off several tees (blind tee shots on 13 and 16) and into greens (significant downhill shot to the 17 green and uphill to green on 18). Overall, this is a solid and challenging course layout and in combination with the surrounding vistas added up to an enjoyable round of golf."
