“Great variety of holes and was in excellent shape when I played it. Good collection of holes - the par 3 over the lava tube is standout and very memorable."

“This Tom Fazio golf course at the Pronghorn Club near Bend, Oregon is a desert style layout situated near the Cascade Mountains. It was opened in 2006 and stretches from 7.456 yards to 5,028 yards providing tee boxes for all levels of play. This very well manicured and conditioned course generally gives the golfer off the tee a variety of options to be able to attack the golf course. There are numerous risk reward opportunities that challenge every level of golfer. There are generally different ways to approach the green giving the golfer various shot options. The course utilizes a variety of natural hazards including water, rocks and strategically placed bunkers to demand that the golfer consider the routing on every shot. To score well on the greens, the golfer must focus on green speed and the subtle undulations on what are generally fairly flat greens. The greens are relatively well protected by a variety of sand bunkers as well as water in some instances. Overall, this pristine well conditioned course provides a unique golf experience for all levels in a serene dessert like environment."

“A golf course that's a real pleasure to enjoy and can be enjoyed by the average golfer while also presenting a stern test for the scratch golfer. It seems like every hole offers multiple ways to play it depending upon how much risk/reward the player wants to bite off."

“The members course on this two course sight. It is wider, not so many hazards, and large smooth greens. Great views of the snow capped mountains."

“Exclusive club near Bend. This is a good, but not great, Fazio design with some unique holes near a lava tunnel. It's always in great shape. Surrounded by juniper pine forests that aren't as towering as some other central Oregon courses. The staff and clubhouse are also great."
