Review
“Santa Fe Country Club is a fun but uncomplicated layout aside from the impact of two subtle ridges that require some precision off the tee. With the exception of a shared pond on holes #10 and #15, which effectively mirror each other, players can see most hazards. Conditioning in play is quite nice with firm, consistent fairways and smooth greens. The bunkers, however, are not particularly well conditioned with weeds, dirt, larger rocks, etc. Course maintenance extends about 5-10 yards into the rough. Outside the immediate rough, players will find unkept but playable terrain adding an additional challenge. Shot options are also straight forward with a few exceptions for in-play hazards and dog legs. Equally, the green complexes don't challenge approach shots."
