Overview
Weston Golf Club has a distinguished history, boasting a Donald Ross golf course that dates back to 1923 when Ross expanded on his own original layout on new land the club acquired after a move after its opening in 1894. Geoffrey Cornish, one of the esteemed architects of his time, worked on two holes (11 and 12) in the 60s, expanding the layout to a par 72. Sitting 15 miles outside Boston, Weston is an esteemed club for those in the area seeking some strong Ross features utilizing unique New England topography.

Review
“Weston GC is a solid private course in one the toniest neighborhoods west of Boston. The golf is good here, if a bit less memorable than its Ross compatriots at Charles River, Winchester, Salem, and Concord. Highlights at Weston include the wild par four 7th to a peninsula green, followed by the short par four 8th with a blind wedge approach to a green with several sections. The finish is also entertaining, with a short two fours with turtle-backed greens, a drop shot par three, and a reachable dogleg left finisher with a fantastic greensite. While perhaps not the top-tier in the Boston area, conditioning is always good at WGC, and the golf is well worth a look."
