“Pine Brook CC is a solid Boston-area course with a classic layout designed by Wayne Stiles. Like many clubs in the area, the course plays over rocky, undulating ground with raised greens. Today's green speeds make many of Pine Brook's greens very challenging, if not borderline unplayable at times. The course is an underrated, subtle challenge that has benefitted greatly in recent years with enhancements from Ron Forse. Pine Brook has been an excellent steward of its golf course, nudging it ahead of a few of its historically more heralded neighbors from the same era."
